With Drake (John Black) Hogestyn passing away, his Salem family gave him an impressive send off. I will miss him. Someone wrote yesterday that they hope he isn't dead, and that they hope Dr Roth will bring back. I hope so too, but if not, I am satisfied to just remember him. It was well done.
ReplyDeleteThey will never bring John back or recast him. Drake signed off of this story line before he died. He never wanted the character to be recasted and he won't be. This story line was done in a way he could come back if he had recovered but sadly that didn't happen.
DeleteMeant to mention, Cat said something to Shane as she was passing by him, or was she talking on her phone. Shane looked too confused. She seems to be up to no good, and I wish Chad would stay far away from her.

ReplyDeleteSlow voices effects are better than none. And No Way will they ever bring the character back. Re=cast is NOT an option. They "retired" Drake's jersey , so to speak. A fitting send-off to a wonderful character, actor and - the man, himself.
