Jenn needs to calm down. And Rachel is the little instigator in this situation.
ReplyDeleteYes, Jennifer Miss Holier-than-thou is interfering and taking advantage of a delicate issue between Chad and his kid. She never stops to question her own motives for trying to bring the kids to her house and beak up a family. Melissa is playing the part well, but I love her character and really don't like seeing her be the villain.
DeleteEJ being way too nice cause what Cat did was nothing like what he did... But even worse is what she's doing now (as a complete betrayal of those she's pretending to be trustworthy to). All EJ did was remain "quiet" about his memory of who shot him (and killed him) many many years after it happened cause Clyde has threatened to hurt his "loved ones", and I never understood if it was because he kept quiet or that he finally opened up to Belle about it while in privacy (which was bugged). While EJ keeps beating himself up over "submitting" to evil, it wasn't the same. He wasn't taking actions to target other people, pretending to be someone innocent and viciously murdered. Not only that, but Cat had so many opportunities to do the right things and never tried back then (even unto marriage) and again didn't do the right thing when having sex with Chad, again under deception. The only reason the truth came out last time was cause others figured it out and exposed them. So no, not even close. Though I'm impressed with her craftiness, as she's more devious than Gwen and Gabi put together, but I hate how Days is making Chad and EJ look so dumb. Chad's become so weak and such a terrible father that I can't even stand his character anymore.... and it looks like Days is useing Belle and Johnny to create vulnerbility in EJ to weaken him down against Cat as well, though I'm impressed with EJ so far and hoping he can keep resisting her. Cat is so fake as she goes to EJ to gain sympathy for herself while Thomas nearly died. But she's good at what she does (conning others). I'm hoping EJ can see through this since he's a bit of a con-man himself. It'd be nice to see him conning her right back, then the story line might not be as boring as it is with Chad. I would like to see EJ and Sami re-unite, and let Sami go up against Cat for a change. I just hope Cat doesn't seduce EJ, which it looks like she's doing... however this could ignite Sami. Remember, what EJ and Sami had broken up cause she had cheated on him with Lucas, but after she was gone a long while cause Lucas kidnapped her, EJ and Belle got intimate due to Jan moving in her home pregnant cause the devil had possessed her to look like Belle. Anyways, when Sami catches EJ and Belle together in a surprise visit, she was horrorfied and EJ chased her out, begging her to forgive him. Belle was so hurt by this and left also, so EJ got together with Nicole instead. Though I never like him and Belle together. Sami has done some very evil things to EJ, but she also sacrificed and loved him passionately. When she slept with Lucas it was because EJ hadn't been able to have sex for years due to Clyde "killing" him. It would be so nice to see EJ and Sami re-uniting, but I doubt Sami will stay on, so who knows.
ReplyDeleteChad's acting was awful today. He does not play anger very well, but it was the way he was making it all about him, just like Cat did when she seen EJ. If Chad had any arguement at all, it should have been about the kids, and how it was taking away from him, but how it would take away from the kids. I guess the storyline was just a lead in to remember Addie. I really liked that they showed Addie and Laura, those scenes were from the 60's. But why do I get the feeling now that they might have showed this as a lead that Cat could be baby Grace, who died as an infant. But Julie remembering how her and her mom were both married to Doug. And even if Sami wasn't Grace's real mom, she's the only mom that baby had till she died. The reason was cause Nicole was pregnant at the same time and married to EJ, so when Nicole lost her baby, she kept pretending to be pregnant, then switched Sami's baby (Sidney) with Grace (who's parents were Mia and Chad, who were very young)... Sami was hiding in witness protection with Rafe while pregnant. It's just the way they ended the show today, showing that Cat had been reading to EJ while he was recovering. It seemed so strange so I just wondered if she could be "Grace" who they buried as a baby, but as we know, Dr. Rolf always recovers "Dimera's" That would be very strange, but it's the only connection I could think of.
ReplyDeleteAnd Philip was so wrong to drink in front of Lucas. And Philip usually does crazy things too when drinking, just like Lucas. But what was wrong with Lucas's voice? Didn't sound like him.
ReplyDeleteThank You Bob for everything you do for us!!!!
ReplyDeleteJenn saying she made mistakes that hurt her children. Gwenn might only be her step-daughter but Jennifer drove high on pills and hit Gwenn with her car then left the scene.
ReplyDelete*that never hurt her children
DeleteSad that she sunk so low, but I think she deserves a break on this one... When her mom (Laura) was killed, maybe it was an accident, but it was still Gwen who pushed her, causing her to hit her head... but Gwen was so evil to "boost" about killing Laura and claiming she did it on purpose just to taunt Abby and Jennifer, who handled it much better than I probably would have, but they still gave her the benefit of the doubt even though she was boosting she did it on purpose. But then when Abby was viciously murdered by stabbing/bleeding to death, Gwen had broken out of prison that night to confront Abby, and was #1 suspect at the start. Jennifer lost her mind in grief, not because of the drugs... she relapsed taking the drugs because of grief. Don't you remember how she was hallucinating Abby? Afterward, Jennifer didn't even have memory of it, but when she did, she was sorry and took responsibility. That was a terrible, horrible situation Jennifer played, but that's how twist things around all the time. What got to me was I hoped Gwen would finally have heart for Abby was murdered, but she seemed almost delighted, and never showed remorse for all the things she did to Abby, and Chad and Jennifer. But now, making is worse, someone stole Abby's body (so Cat could pretend to be her) is disgusting as they still don't know where her body is. Time may ease the pain, but Jennifer worried about Abby moving into the Dimera mansion, and now she's a bit overprotective over Abby's children. The saddest part is how confused little Thomas is, feeling betrayed by Chad, who really is putting the whole family in danger over and over again. You can't say he was thinking of his kids when he almost committed suicide, took risks going after Clyde, almost commiting murder and going to prison, getting Horton home burned, and now not even recognizing a con artist, looking to destroy his family, but he keeps feeding her more info. But what disturbed me what how Chad behaved when Thomas didn't want him in there. He's so angry, but was making it all about himself, how this would hurt himself. He's needing to figure out what his kids are needing and be the father they deserve. I don't think Jennifer wants the kids, but is just worried about the situation unfolding cause she seen right through Cat all along, though Days is starting to unravel Cat's connection between EJ and Sami. I hope she's not baby Grace, but she definitely read to EJ while he was healing. Maybe that's why they were both reading "wuthering heights" recently. Strange, but a good book.
Deleteagain more rich history this time with Julie & Maggie's thoughts, memories and the pay-off was those flashbacks
ReplyDeleteNever thought I would be agreeing with Ms J Horton, judgy hypocrite onscreen, once homophobe off screen, -if you know you know-, but the character is right. Chad is putting Cat above his son. After what she pulled Chad should have nothing to do with her if that is what he said, instead he lied and was kissing her in public. Why he's even talking to her after what she did is beyond me. He is so whipped he can't even she she's conning everyone. It's ridiculous.
