Why are the videos being uploaded so late, by several hours late
ReplyDeleteI didn't know there was a set schedule. Heck Bob isn't charging us to watch. I appreciate being able to watch DOOLS no matter what time it gets loaded. I also imagine that Bob has a life outside of providing this blog.
DeleteI was really surprised by how inconsiderate Rafe was towards Lucas, just like Philip was the other day. Of course, Philip himself has a drinking problem and was stressing that day, but Rafe literally asks Lucas to "Toast" the one that got away? I had to do a double take to be sure Lucas did "fall" as he's done so many times before. Remember when he got so drunk that Bonnie was able to seduce him into bed, as she was pretending to be Adrian (who Lucas loved). Lucas never even noticed it was Bonnie, and then when Alex's mom (Aljelica) showed up to plot with Bonnie (as they put Adrian in prison to break Bonnie out, and Marlena to break Hattie out) and as they were arguing over their schemes in Lucas's room, as Lucas lay there passed out drunk. Bonnie got called away to go back to the mansion (as Adrian), and Hattie didn't know what to do with Anjelica's dead body, so she put her in Lucas's bed with him... so when Lucas finally woke up, he thought he was so drunk that he'd had sex with Anjelica instead of Adrian, and called Chloe in a panic on what to do. That was so funny, cause he never found out what had actually happened, but a year later Bonnie showed up with Mimi's baby claiming it was hers and Lucas's love child. Lucas couldn't believe her, but a dna test proved he was the father. Later it came out that the baby was actually Mim's and Rex's and since Rex and Lucas are brothers through Kate, is the reason the DNA matched. Rex and Sarah were at their engagement party when this came out, proving that Rex had been cheating on Sarah with Mimi (which he said was a one night stand). It was better that way anyways, cause she was in love with Eric at the time anyways. Actually I hate the way Days plays Lucas's alcohol problem, along with Maggie's, Brady's, Teresa's, Jennifer's and Holly's... but there are 2 men currently on the soap who I think are way worse, and they are Eric and Philip... But Eric goes on binges at times claiming to not have a problem, and Philip too, but they have bother done worse than the other while drunk and seem unable to control it. It's irritating. I agree that Lucas has a problem, but Eric's is worse and Philip's too, but I'm proud of how Lucas, Brady and Maggie seem always be stuggling not to even drink one. On research, science shows us that human genetics effects Alcohol sensitivity, which has to do with having the proper emzymes to metabolize it.... A common mutation slows down the enzyme, aldehyde dehydrogenase (ALDH2), which functions to convert acetaldehyde into a less harmful substance called acetate, but in those with this mutation, are unable break down acetaldehyde, which is very dangerous to them. Other's, like Holly's mom Nicole, and her best friend Ari, both seem to handle alcohol at excessive levels without any problems. However, it's still bad for their health, especially their liver, but those with certain genetic mutations, it can be literally be deadly with much, much less. So I just hate seeing people drinking in front of alcoholics... just like I hate seeing people eating meat in front of vegans. I love my meat, but I respect others more than I love my meat.
ReplyDeleteTammy 2trueblue, I disagree with you that people should not drink in the presence of a Alcoholic or eat meat in front of a Vegetarian. If those people can't except the world they live in with alcohol and meat they are still in Denial about being ready for the world 🌎🌍.
DeleteBtw, that reminds me also of when Theo's mom Lexi got pregnant with Theo. I use to love Brandon Walker (Nicole's brother's, Abe's son). Nicole's mom Faye was victim of abuse, and Abe working as a cop, had affair with her, but no one ever knew. Strange enough while Lexi and Abe had some problems, Lexi and Brandon had an affair, and so when she finally got pregnant (after trying so hard for years), she thought it must be Brandon's baby. Sami of course was switching the results cause she was in love with Brandon, but this is when they discovered that Abe's DNA matched Brandon's and it came out about his affair with Faye all those years ago. Later they did discover that Abe was his father, and Brandon ended up leaving town to never return. I sure wish he could return cause he was hot, and like I said, he's Abe's son and Theo's and Loni's half brother (on the Carver side), and Holly's uncle (on Nicole's side). I was thinking also about how much I miss Celeste. I think the actress that played Lexi died in real life, so in the reason they killed off her character, but wonder why Celeste would be written off. She kinda reminds me of Susan. PS.. I wondered if Days is advertising Wuthering Heights since there's a new one coming out this Valentine's Day, but now I'm thinking they are using it to open up memories of Cat reading to EJ.
