ReplyDeleteI thought about how Kristin went about handling EJ remembering Rachel shooting him, and I just don't think this is what is best for Rachel, who will likely remember shooting EJ at some point. EJ has shown he is willing to lie and ask others to lie under oath, even little Rachel before he remembers.... but now that he remembers, and threatens Kristin with coming forward about Rachel, suddenly he says he's not willing to lie for Rachel's sake for Kristin. But he's willing for Kristin to lie to frame someone else, as they considered Ava... and ultimately Kristin confessed to being the shooter herself (which she believes is best for Rachel, but has put Rachel in a severe depressed state). So EJ doesn't believe his withholding the truth is lying. EJ is so manipulative and deceiving. We all know that he's willing to lie, he's willing to doctor video footage to make Chanelle look guilty, he's often accused Kristin from the beginning to make her look guilty and now he's willing to let Kristin's lie stand right when Johnny was gonna be let off the hook with a "not guilty" verdict, but EJ said he wasn't willing to let them give the verdict just in case it could be guilty, even though as Kristin said they could appeal it after as she didn't want to confess until he was found guilty, but EJ wasn't willing for Johnny to spend even one minute in jail. With all of EJ's willingness for lies, I wondered why EJ hadn't just confessed to shooting himself for Johnny's sake to begin with. This would be far less brave than what Kristin did for Rachel. And self harm would not likely be convicted. And since we already know he was drunk, and since Johnny left the gun there, it was a possibility that EJ could have picked up the gun and shot himself in his grief, as he was in severe depression due to son finding out he raped his mother. He could also claim it was an accident due to his drunken state. EJ seems to love his son and the fact that he even suggested to little Rachel that she lie on the witness stand shows how deceptive he is, but then he says to Kristin that he's unwilling to lie to protect Rachel. We all seen his willingness to lie for much less reason than protection of a child, and as a lawyer, he could have and should have help prepare Kristin with best options for Rachel, such as how coming forward with the truth would effect Rachel and how they can keep her safe, and the fact that EJ remembers it being an accident, and her reaction, and her sickness afterward. I worry that her sickness is gonna get worse now that Kristin is in prison, but I understand Kristin's fear of how the truth might be too much for Rachel to handle, but what if Rachel is already having memories? Then it would probably be better for her if her loved ones can help her process it and heal. Her carrying such a big secret is what will hurt her the most. She needs forgiveness and acceptance. It doesn't surprise me that EJ is letting Kristin's lie, cause EJ has shown over and over that he doesn't care a bit about her. EJ only cares about Rachel since she's a child. But being raised by Stephano, EJ shows how much he's willing to do to protect his own. We see how he was will for Johnny to get away with murder, from the beginning when he thought Johnny was the one who shot him, but in the end, he was never willing to sacrafice himself the way Kristin did for Rachel. He would try to make other sacrafice themselves for Johnny, and would try to make others look guilt, even falsifying evidence against others, even against Johnny's wishes. I think his being raised by Stephano has a lot to do with this
My opinion Rachel knows she shot EJ and Marlena after talking to Rachel realized that Rachel knows she shot EJ for kidnapping her Grandma!
ReplyDeleteI feel Marlena knows that something evil is happening to her, especially the way she is not telling Brady that Rachel shot EJ and allowing that child to suffer without helping her! Also the way she treated Susan at the door and told her she doesn't want to hear what she got to say and closed the door in her face, something Marlena would NEVER do to Susan!
ReplyDeleteTammy2trueblue I agree, he accused his girlfriend Belle of shooting him and revealed their relationship in court to get a mistrial! Fans say Victor on Young and Restless is Devious, but he doesn't compare to EJ! Also he STILL hasn't REVEALED where Kristen Mother is why letting her go down for a attempted Murder knowing she is Innocent!
ReplyDeleteOh you must have missed an episode cause EJ did release Kristin's mom, back to her home (but not allowed to return to the mansion). EJ did this when Rachel had told Kristin about seeing Johnny with the gun, then Kristin told EJ and used this to stike a deal, offering to keep Rachel silent about Johnny if EJ set her mom free. This was when EJ still thought Johnny had shot him and was desparate to keep this silent, so he agreed as long as her mother stayed in her home and kept quiet about EJ. This was when Rachel originally went to stay with Brady so Kristin could help her mom get resettled and spend some time with her, but then Kristin cut her trip short due to Johnny getting arrested, and this is when her and Brady decided that Rachel should just continue to stay with Brady due to Johnny's trial since they didn't want Rachel around EJ.
DeleteBut my main point was how EJ was willing for others to lie, and was willing to frame others by manipulating things (like the video he sent, but pretended like he was hearing about it for the first time, and the fact that he was telling Kristin she should frame Ava (but he just didn't want to be the one the lie came from, but he wanted Kristin to be the one telling the lie). And we can't forget he even tried to get Rachel to lie, and remember he even approach Leo in the Jury to lie. So it drives me crazy that he said he wouldn't lie. If he really cared about protecting Johnny (in the beginning) and now Rachel, it would have been much easier for him to confess that he shot himself, than Kristin confessing.
EJ told Kristen where her mother is she’s safe now and he doesn’t want her in Salem so Kristen already knows where she is , they made that deal can’t remember what deal it was , so Kristen seen her mother already .
ReplyDeleteFunny on 8/26 Phillip jumped out of bed with two normal legs and no prosthetic one, now he mentions to Belle about physical therapy from losing a limb. What gives, did his leg grow back? Writers error once again, I guess. They forget from one day to the next and also that they have long-term viewers that remember things!!
