ReplyDeleteNow this is what ethical behavior looks like. Though I understand Brady's frustration, and many would just confront her boldly, demanding release of this medical info to prove the baby to safe. Though due flat out lies and manipulation, false documents, fake photos, her altering of evidence, would make it hard to believe anything she touches at this point, so Brady has been smart to not tip her off to his discoveries. And it's exactly these discoveries that gives Brady a preponderance of evidence to take before a civil judge, due to concerns about the baby's wellbeing and the paternity.
ReplyDeleteBtw, even though Brady didn't tip off Sophia, Sarah did... Sarah ran straight to Sophia and told her that Brady tested the Firehouse baby against Tate's DNA, which wasn't a match.... This idea that Brady is even taking this test though should put Sophia in panic mode and the fact that she didn't go to work today, makes me wonder what she's up to. Sarah was calling out Sophia for her lies that the Firehouse baby wasn't hers.... since Sophia had claimed Tate was the father and his DNA didn't match this baby. I find this interesting, since Tate is also considered an adult and is also protected under HIPPA, and hasn't given consent to share his medical info with anybody, and actually didn't even give consent to test his DNA in the first place... though it's obvious to see that the legal problems are gonna arise on Sophia's end, and if they make any mistakes, it's gonna come out. What I mean is if this ends up in a court, and her lawyer asks Brady under oath if anyone even suggested that this baby was Sophia's... Brady would have to tell the truth. But like I said, I think it would be fairly easy to get a court order at this point.
Actually though, if Brady was smart.... there is probable cause to raise this to the level of a criminal investigation, meaning the judge could issue a warrant for these records.... What I mean is how Johnny and Channel have put the pieces together fairly quickly and are even the ones alerting Brady... and now Holly. The fact that they suspect Sophia took Holly's phone, took lewd photos of Holly while she was unable to protect herself, sending these photos to Johnny to frame him of cheating, while falsifying a report of social services regarding this.... crazy thing is, after doing all this, they may try to blame even more on her, like getting Holly drunk, even though Holly was already drunk and didn't even swallow the drink Sophia tampered with, but I'm wondering if someone seen he tamper with the drink or recorded it. Actually if there was any such surveilance, they are probably reviewing it due to the "fire investigation" which will expose Sophia's actions eariler, in which case, she could be blamed for the fire due to "spiking" Holly's drink (even though Holly didn't even drink that one), but just seeing that moment would make Sophia look guilty enough that she would be better off just making a deal.
