Men are terrible at discernment/feelings. Chad and JJ both don't even understand what their offenses were. I can appreciate that they are trying to make things right, but are just so way off. I've got nothing left for Chad, and I use to think he was a descent guy, even when he fell for Gwen's evil tricks... I thought he was dumb, but the fact that he could sink so low as to let that disgusting snake Cat seduce him, while betrayng his whole family, on both sides... it just can't ever be undone, and I've lost all respect for him. Does he not see the hyprocrisy in saying the he always puts his family first? Lying to his whole family (which she didn't have any problem with). Back when Days started this nonsense, I said that she liked that he was the one coming around so he would be the only one to blame for his broken heart. But he went far above just breaking his heart, he's destroyed the the trust of his family, and the respect. This is gonna be so hard for Thomas to get over, but what makes it worse is Chad's lack of sincerity? The fact that he doesn't see the TRUTH about WHY his actions led to this! The fact that he wasn't being straight with his family, tells me that deep down, he does understand, but this is betrayal.. This is why I don't think Thomas or any of them will be able to look at him the same again. Sad to see that Chad is still talking to that poisonous woman. And he still doesn't even know that she's illegally scheming against his family and used him to get closer to her goals... which now she's flirting with EJ. Though, I don't think EJ will violate his family in the same way Chad did, but he better watch out, cause she's committing the worse kinda of betrayals... playing with hearts and seducing brothers. EJ better watch his back.
ReplyDeleteBut as far as JJ goes, I think he could make things right, but he's totally off in left field looking for a ball that wasn't even pitched. Theo again was A++++ I am just loving this new Theo. It actuall feels like his Autism is being utilized in a healthy way, though it usually complicates social behavior/ relationship, but here it seems he's been able to use it to his advantage. He's functioning so well, managing his stress and using that high functioning brain in such a honest and direct way... That's such a breath of fresh air cause so many just lie, lie, lie.... it's disgusting.
Even though JJ was way off base here in the way he approached Theo, I think he's really trying to figure it out, so maybe the counseling will work for him. It is strange though that he can't see obvious TRUTHS about what they problem is, like how JJ behaved toward Gabi. As much of a snake as Gabi is, she made some good points about JJ (as a cop). As far as this meeting with Theo, he wasn't taking responsibility, blaming the PD, saying they were the only reason he went back, cause they needed him, as if he was "noble", and the problem wasn't even because he went back, but it was cause he didn't even "share" it with Theo... It's like he doesn't even remember why he left the PD in the first place, which Theo appreciated as it showed how much JJ cared. That's why his going back feels like a stab in the back, cause it's like he's forgotten how he hurt Theo. And I really don't like JJ as a cop, cause he seems to be power tripping. And his sitting there telling Theo that "he wanted to do good and wanted Theo's permission" just felt shallow, and Theo did very good not falling for this. I am very impressed with Theo. I feel for JJ, when the love of his life (Paige) was murdered by Ben, and then when he started to love again (Haily), Kristen pushed her down the stairs killing her, and then Gwen killed Laura (his GM), and his sister Abby was like his best friend, and she was stabbed to death too. JJ lost it after he shot Theo, and tried to kill himself, but Gabi saved him. And he lost it when Haily died, and tried to kill Kristen, at a convent, but Thankfully Loni was there like an angel in that moment and helped bring JJ back. JJ even betrayed his best friend Rory for the badge.
Please why can’t you forgive Cat? Everyone deserves a second chance in life. Please don’t judge her.
Delete@delight , yes I like cat definitely everyone deserves a second chance 👍
DeleteI was so very proud of Xander today. And Brady was so smart to help Sarah release that pent up anger. I find it interesting how she's finally waking up to the "monster" Xander is, feeling her anger release from his perspective and the guilt following it. Of course, she brought it back, aknowleging that Xander probably didn't even feel guilt after doing this to an actual person. How perceptive this was! But as Xander admitted today, he's developed coping mechenisms by "lying to himself" (blocking it out)... though this goes much deeper than just his feelings of guilt, but he actually admitted that he viewed himself as a monster. I really appreciated that Marlena brought Xander's focus back on "fixing himself" rather than "trying to fix things with Sarah". Xander facing his atrocities head on is suh a huge step, that he's never done before. I was so amazed how he changed with Sarah, but he's never dealt with his past, and hearing him today, helps us all see how important this is for his own healing. And Sarah, even though she's lost all trust for Xander, but I think Brady was very smart to see how this could help her. And it helped her much more than just getting out her own anger, which I think was worth it just for this reason cause she has so much anger inside.... but the way she's relating to Xander in this instant, the aknowledgment of the guilt, and his "lack of guilt".... this is all helping her understand the situation better, which I think is gonna end up helping Xander now that he's letting the guilt come to the surface... which is the best thing in the world for him right now to release all evils he did to others, including Marlena. It's gonna be impossible for Sarah to unsee what she's seen about Xander, and now, it's gonna be impossible for Xander to unsee what he's seen about himself.... but I think this is so important for Xander's sake! For them to acknowledge the reality, the truth, and start to heal. I'm not sure if Sarah can ever trust in him again, and I think her and Brady both are not being unfair in the concern for Victoria. But the way Xander is taking responsibility now and trying so hard, acknowledging his love for Victoria and Sarah are his motivation to "fix himself".
ReplyDeleteOne more observation was Xander's strength, while Sarah finally let her anger and pain out. Again, bravo to Brady for his discernment, and kudos to Sarah for letting herself go, but biggest reward goes to Xander for his great Strength in facing that monster in him. They all played their parts perfectly as usual. Remembering how hopeless Xander use to be, the way he use to live... it's like he's a completely different person, which shows us what "love"... (real love) can do .
Can you please reshare video? I started watching last night but didn’t finish and this morning it’s already removed. Thank you 😊
