ReplyDeleteThis episode is not going to age well for Kayla. 1st off, the fact that they are redoing the DNA test "and being so thorough and careful", taking all the time, effort and expense.... and knowing that Sophia is a pathological liar. The thing is, women should know who the father is, and I'm thinking Sophia knew she was pregnant BEFORE she seduced Tate, and that's WHY she seduced Tate to manipulate the whole situation. Brady, Steve, Kayla, Javi and Rafe are smart enough to recognize that she could still be the mom even though they seen her "still pregnant" after "Little T" was abandoned, which I think this consideration is a much further stretch than the idea that Tate might not even be the father. The fact that none of them have even considered this possibility yet, but especially Kayla.... as a Doctor and as Woman and being the one watching the test and now re-doing the test. Like what?
ReplyDeleteAnd second, Kayla is also speaking so ignorantly concerning "Cat". Yet, Jennifer again is so perseptive, seeing right through Cat still (since the very beginning). Jennifer is the only one who was never conned by Cat. But here, Days made Kayla look so gullible, cause right when she defends Cat, they show Cat talking with Rafe about her "current secret mission to bring down Chad's family". But Jennifer again had the perfect response when Kayla was "worried about Jennifer holding on to anger".... and Jennifer makes a good point about "what was expected of her to prove her forgiveness?.... What would Kayla have her do, go to lunch with her?" Look, Jennifer was right, we all can forgive Cat (and Clyde and Mark), but their forgiveness doesn't mean they should be forced to eat at the same table with them or to trust them with your grandchildren. And just pointing out, that Clyde has never returned Abigal's body and that Cat is still pretending with her misson to bring down their grandchildren's family and legacy. And Cat has targeted Chad cause he's such an easy target and vulnerable. Actually I have lost all respect for Chad when he slept with Cat. I expected this from Cat already cause she's been conning him from the start, but the fact that she got him in bed under false pretenses has destroyed them before they even started. A piece of me hoped she would own up and tell the truth. But Chad was also wrong to have sex with her before speaking with his kids. I always put my kids first. Their needs above mine. But Chad's situation is so much more delicate because of the way Abby was murdered, butchered.... and that he's moving forward with a woman than was not only in cahoots with Clyde, faked DNA tests, literally learned Abby's vows to manipulate Chad's heart so he would believe she was actually Abby. She never once tried to warn anybody. This is why I don't fall for her game cause she has had any empathy or love for Chad this whole time to try to do what's right. To actually warn him about what's coming, especially for the children's sake, but she doesn't care. To forgive is devine, but it is no credit to Chad that he's be conned by the same conartist twice. Jennifer's perception is right on target.... I though Chad could go no lower than when he was manipulated by Gwen to have sex with her to hurt Abby, as she got him sloppy drunk and convienced him that Abby was cheating.... That was so dumb, but I think this time is so much worse cause of him lonliness and confusion. Even when he thought she was Abby, she manipulated everything around him so he was the one trying to conviece her she was Abby. And she never stop manipulating him, just he is so slow to figure it out. Even when he thought she was Abby, he was so gullible that he like to never accept the truth. Jennifer never ever fell for any of it... but Chad still bears responsibility, cause he's hurting his kids, his family, his wife's legacy... and the Dimera dynasty (which will hurt his kid's futures as well since they will each get a vote in adulthood).
Ohh that is a very good point about the baby storyline. I know a lot of viewers have been saying forever that it's probably not Tate's baby. But you're right, how come not one character in the show has questioned whether or not Tate is the real father? I hadn't thought of that myself. And including Kayla, a doctor. and her PI husband, Steve. and FBI Rafe! When they all learn that Tate was never the father, I hope they all slap themselves in the head and say DUH.
DeleteOh yeah, I find it interesting that Steve is asking Rafe to look at Jeremy. That doesn't surprise me. Steve is a PI, and PI's have more power and less power.... or should I say more Freedom due to less power.... In law enforcement, they are suppose to investigate "crimes".... It's illegal (and an abuse of power) to just investigate people outside of a crime, to target a person just to look for crimes, as every person should be dealt with on the same level, regardless of power, status, race, gender, last name, etc. That's why we have PI's. But Rafe has further reach, and Steve takes every advantage of this, just like when Andrew blew up the photo of Teresa kidnappng Victoria. I don't see anything wrong with this at all. I just don't like how Cat kept playng Chad, while flirting, using her feminine wiles, while acting like she's no longer conning him. Her intentions are just so bad, and this storyline is lasting forever and it's just annoying to seeing her playing Chad day in, day out. No offense, but none of her lies from the beginning were necessary. I've calculated the risk, actually she would have sped up and increased their success by telling the truth (in the right way). Oh course, I hate to say how I'd dealt with Clyde if I was in the same situation, though it'd be justified, but Clyde would regret it, and in the end would be at my complete mercy and thankful for it. As far as Chad, he's just ruined as a character and as a man. I think it's fair for Steve to take a closer look at Jeremy due to his past, but at the end of the day, he'll be straight up about it. He's not out there boucing around Jeremy, trying to get him to open up to him, blah, blah, blah... I just love how Days is twisting this. I'm wating to see Stephanie's fire again. Alex, hurry back.
ReplyDeleteTammy 2trueblue, I feel that Cat is a good person and not manipulating Chad, I feel she really has feelings for him, although with her job as a ISA Employee and also working with the Feds to stop Evil she can't Reveal her work. I am happy to hear Steve tell Jennifer what I have been saying All alone that he would deceive anyone to SAVE his Family, especially from Clyde who has caused so much pain and suffering to so many people. Cat now is doing her job to bring down another EVIL man, EJ. I hope she stops him from putting out that Drug that could hurt a lot of people, using the Hospital and Donations Funds to do it. I know Chad is going to be Hurt again when he finds out she kept her job a SECRET, but as a ISA Employee you have to, you sign Documents that you could Never revealed your Assignment to anyone, because it could compromise the Assignment. I 😘 like Cat and proud of her she helped to bring Clyde down when no one else did, even Chad after he murdered Abigail. Also no one has been able to stop EJ for all the Madness he done and hurted so many people in for years and years and still causing EvIL. I hope Cat brings him down
ReplyDeleteThe ISA and the Feds would not continue to give her Assignments if she could not be TRUSTED. I Remember the Episode when Sean(I hope I spelled his name right) whom been with the ISA for years would not asked her to do the EJ Assignment if she could not TRUSTED. I remember he had to convince her that they had no one else that can get close to EJ, and I am happy she Accepted the job. I don't feel she is trying to hurt Chad Again, I feel her feelings for Chad is Real, especially since she was the one that continued trying to stay away from him for months, he is the one that continued going after her. So far I am happy they are dating 😍❣️😔😉😃👍.
